The Komedy for Kidneys All Star show is in memory of comedian, Rodney Pentland, who grew up in Niagara Falls and performed on the first Komedy for Kidneys Benefit Show. Unfortunately Rodney passed away in 2009 from complications related to kidney disease but throughout his long battle with the disease, Rodney continued to perform and make people laugh. That was important to him and it’s important to the organizers of the new event to continue that legacy.
