WEGO Niagara Falls Transit is a partnership between the Niagara Parks Commission and the City of Niagara Falls to deliver better public transportation options to guests of Niagara Falls.
WEGO and Niagara Transit
According to the WEGO representatives the WEGO name is a pairing of two words: "WE," communicating friendship and social activity, and "GO," suggesting adventure and exploration. It was chosen as the brand name and identity because it easily distinguishes the Niagara Falls Visitor Transportation System from the conventional municipal system.

The city and the Niagara Parks Commission, partners in the WEGO venture, were awarded the AccessibleNiagara.com Award during a March of Dimes event in 2012 to mark National Access Awareness Week. It was one of 13 awards given to people and businesses that promote awareness and equal access for those with disabilities throughout the region.
