Their beautiful vineyard sits on the site of a battlefield during the War of 1812. So, the area at the winery has also thrown up artefacts of the war. One more striking feature of this vineyard is its great terrain–the natural wine-making environment that includes the soil, climate, topography and other factors.
Visits to the wineries include wine tours as well as topographic tours. Wine tours are inclusive of tasting four sample wines as well as a complimentary snack at the snack bar. Topographic tours have a tour guide explaining the finer details of wine-making along with the story of the winery’s origins. It also includes three complimentary wines and taking a look at the artefacts of the War of 1812.
