Music helps define a generation. From an iconic sound to memorable songs that stay the same as we grow and mature, music has an irrefutable influence on how we reflect on our lives. So you can understand that when legends of the past come back to play, seeing them again is a once in a lifetime experience.

The Herman’s Hermits are one such band. Rivaling and even surpassing the Beetles in the United States, Herman’s Hermits are less known today, but none the less as crucial to our generation as any other band out there. Having performed for a half century, this iconic group will once again be playing and you have the opportunity to see them in the flesh.

A Successful Start

The British Invasion of the 60’s referred not only to the Beetles, but to an entire wave of artists and performers who were finding crowds in the United States. The Herman Hermit’s was one such group, forming in 1963 in England and finding their audience in the United States. Members of the band include Peter Noone, Steve Titterington, Alan Wrigley, Frank Renshaw, Karl Green, Keith Hopwood, and Derek Leckenby.

What made Herman’s Hermits stand out was a number of chart topping releases. This included their first hit, “I’m Into Something Good,” which was a cover for Earl-Jeans. In addition, they had two US Billboard top 100 songs including “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” and “I’m Henry the Eighth I Am.” Other popular songs included “I’m Into Something Good,” and “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat.”

The Years In-between

Having reached their greatest acclaim in the 60’s, Herman’s Hermits continued playing over the decades, occasionally switching out musicians, including Peter Noone.

A Once In A Lifetime Performance

Having re-assembled many key members of the band, Herman’s Hermits are once again touring. Peter Noone, the original member has joined the group again, leading to the title change of Herman Hermits Starring Peter Noone. The concerts include Herman Hermits Starring Peter Noone playing many of their popular songs from the 60’s, and is widely considered one of the best blasts from the past. If you want to have this nostalgic look back into your past, then do not let this opportunity slip by you. After all, it is not every day that you get to relive your past, listening to the music live that helped define your childhood.
