Fans of country music are incredibly passionate and are able to recognize talent when they see it. Little Big Town is one of the most popular acts in all of country music, with recent tracks earning the group crossover appeal that isn’t easy for country music artists to obtain.
Little Big Town Band Profile
Little Big Town is a country music group that is comprised of 4 members. It began as a duo of Kimberly and Karen, two Georgia natives that sang together when they were away at college.
After over a half decade as a group, the band rose to prominence in 2005, earning four top 40 hits. Up until this point they only had minor hits and minimal radio play, but that quickly changed.
Little Big Town Touring
The follow up album that Little Big Town released in 2007 did not do quite as well and produced zero mainstream billboard top 40 hits, but they still gained famed and notoriety through touring. Little Big Town served as the opening act for a number of high profile country artists including Carrie Underwood and Sugarland. In 2010, Little Big Town had one of their biggest hits to date with Little White Church. The song Pontoon released in 2012 was the first number one hit for Little Big Town and stayed on the top of the charts for a number of weeks.
Little Big Town recently released an album in 2014 that has already achieved a lot of success. One of their latest singles Girl Crush stirred a bit of controversy, but was their first crossover hit. The lyrics are different than most traditional country songs, but the familiar Little Big Town sound is still there.
Little Big Town will be coming to the Fallsview Casino for two shows, February 27th & 28th 2016. For more information and our combined casino/hotel packages visit:
