Classic Rock in Niagara Falls
English rock band The Moody Blues are renowned for their classical-classic rock sound, fusing together the soaring symphonies of the classical music era with the musical conventions of their own peak era. Besides their classical rock sound, they're also known for performing some of classic rock's best known hits, unique tunes that they still perform to this day.
The band is best known for their classical rock magnum opus, 1967's Days of Future Passed. Throughout their career, they've sold over 55 millions around the world, and have gained 18 platinum and gold discs.
Although the band lineup has changed over the years, they still remain active as performers, the lineup featuring players from the 1964 and 1967 lineup: Graeme Edge, Justin Hayward and John Lodge.
Since the mid-2000s, The Moody Blues resumed touring, heading to locations throughout the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.
Besides touring, the band has also seen releases of compilation albums and anniversary releases of their discography, including their 2014 retrospective set 'The Polydor Years,' which featured remasters of three albums (The Other Side of Life, Sur La Mer and Keys of The Kingdom) and several concert events.
