Singer and songwriter Colin Hay, a popular solo artist was once the lead vocalist of the famous Australian rock band Men at Work. His music career began in 1978 and has spanned several decades during which he delivered some memorable songs.

In 1981, the band’s debut album ‘Business as Usual’ propelled the group and Colin Hay into the limelight. The songs were immensely successful especially Down Under which topped the Billboard charts. Who Can It Be Now was another fan favourite from the album. Their sensational music resulted in the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1983. The band’s second album ‘Cargo’ also received a positive response.

When the band broke up in 1985-86, Hay launched a solo career with the album ‘Looking for Jack’ in 1987. He followed this up with ‘Wayfaring Sons’ in 1990. The singer has released more than 11 albums since then. His latest album ‘Next Year People’ came out in 2015. Several popular TV shows such as Scrubs have used Hay’s songs in their soundtracks as well. Hay is active on the tour circuit and will perform at the Fallsview Casino Resort in January 2017.
