It’s hard to see every major pop star and musician perform live. Even if you can follow all their tour schedules, the chances of being able to find the time or money to see dozens or more of performances is taxing to say the least.
There’s a viable alternative, however. An accomplished singer, impersonator and all-round entertainer, Véronic DiCaire comes fully loaded with an arsenal of voices in her ‘One Singer, Fifty Voices’ live show.
World Class Impersonator
As an impersonator, she’d been working behind the scenes for years in foreign language dubs (such as providing the voice of Renee Zellweger’s character in the French version of Chicago), but she had her big break in 2008 as part of Celine Dion’s Taking Chances tour, taking the opportunity to show off her command of French and American music to pay homage to the greats of both worlds. Véronic and Celine Dion have kept a strong working relationship since then, Dion having co-produced some of Véronic’s later stage shows.
In recent times, Véronic has split her time between a regular show at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and a variety of one-off shows and tours for French-Canadian audiences. Other guest spots like a tenure as a judge on the French TV show version of X-Factor have only increased public interest in her talents. In 2017 she’s touring more widely again, taking her impersonation act across North America.
Véronic Voices in Niagara Falls
For Niagara Falls enthusiasts, Véronic will be touching down in March 2017. Tickets are available right away for four shows at the Avalon Ballroom Theatre in Niagara Falls, running from Wednesday 22 until Saturday 25 March. When you’re essentially getting a show with dozens of pop stars taking the stage all through one performer’s versatile range, any ticket price would be a bargain.
