The winery uses sustainable winemaking practices to cultivate grapes and make wine. Over the years, Reif’s icewines have won more than 100 Gold Awards. At the tasting event, you can savour “The Magician” Shiraz Pinot paired with Dark Chocolate Eggplant Caponata.
This winery has produced several award-winning red, rose, white and icewines using an eco-friendly model and modern methods. One of the major highlights of the winery is that its electricity is supplied by a 1000 sq. feet solar panel and it also uses geothermal heating and cooling. Some of the amazing wines here include the 2010 Rose, 2010 Riesling and the 2010 Sauvignon Blanc. Enjoy a 2013 Wanderlust paired with Wanderlust Chocolate Cake during the February event.
The Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes at this winery are used to produce classic red wines while whites come from the Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer grapes. Strewn Winery has also produced the first barrel-fermented Riesling Icewine in the Niagara region. Tickle your tastebuds with a 2013 Cabernet Franc and a pairing of Sweet Potato & Black Bean Patty with Arugula & OLiV Chocolate Jalapeño Balsamic Drizzle at the event.

The entire production of these high quality VQA wines takes place within the premises of the winery. At the Days of Wine and Chocolate event, you can taste a 2012 Merlot and a Cocoa-infused Pulled Pork Braised with the winery’s Signature Harvest Barn Merlot Sauce on a Bun.
