The Friendship Festival is an annual event along the Niagara river that attracts Canadians and Americans to celebrate over 200 years of peace. Originally held alongside the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie at Mather Arch Park it has since moved to venues suited to the growing event. In 2013 it is going to celebrate its history by returning to Mather Arch Park now that the restoration is complete.
In 2013 there will be a Talent Competition introduced to fill in the blanks between musical performances. The original vendor fair will return to the paved roadway alongside the park. And of course there will be plenty of Niagara Wine to sample while taking in the waterfront or fireworks display.
Don’t miss the 2013 Friendship Festival.
