It is the obvious choice for incredible photographs because it is just so magnificent. The crescent shaped Horseshoe Falls is popular with visitors and there are several places where you can take brilliant photographs of the attraction. Journey Behind the Falls at the Table Rock Welcome Centre gives a very close view of the falls as does the Hornblower Niagara Cruises that takes you right in front of the majestic falls. You can also head to the Queen Victoria Park or the Skylon Tower for panoramic picturesque views. If you are lucky, you can also click a photograph with a rainbow or two over the falls.

At night, the Niagara Falls looks as stunning as in the daytime with the illumination of the falls. Various colours are projected on the falls giving it a magical look. What creates an even more alluring appeal is the fireworks display above the falls. The combination of the illumination and the fireworks is the best time to photograph it.

Winter in Niagara Falls is also one of the best times to click photographs of the frozen Niagara Falls and the festivities in the city. The Winter Festival of Lights is an illumination festival where various lighting displays bring an added dazzle to the city. The Niagara Parkway, Fallsview District and Dufferin Islands look fabulous during the holiday season.
