Sam Roberts Band
The other act to perform at the New Year’s Eve Concert, the Sam Roberts Band is known for its fantastic rock performances. It was with the EP release Inhuman Condition in 2002 that the song Brother Down received due prominence. It did well on the Canadian charts and found a place in the hearts of music lovers as well. Another track from this Gold-certified album Don't Walk Away Eileen became equally popular.
His first full-length studio album We Were Born in a Flame that released in 2003 became a huge success. A song from Inhuman Condition Where Have All the Good People Gone? was re-recorded and released. Other songs from this EP too featured in the album. Hard Road, Dead End, Taj Mahal, Every Part Of Me were some of the soundtracks in this album. The popular album bagged two Juno Awards for Album of the Year and Rock Album of the Year.
