Montebello Park Experience
One of the most historic and picturesque parks in Niagara, the Montebello Park in St Catharines is where the most amazing events take place during the festival. Wines from the wineries of Niagara region and food prepared by local chefs are the highlights. You can enjoy this culinary feast by buying tokens at $3.50 each. Use this to purchase wine by the sample or glass. In exchange for one to three tokens per portion, relish lip-smacking fare created by the chefs. Additionally, there are plenty of other activities that you can enjoy with your family and friends.
How about some music? That’s covered as well with local bands performing each weekend for a truly entertaining time! On opening night, the mainstage will see rocking performances from Back in the Daze with their collection of 60s, 70s and 80s classic hits. Stay tuned for The Caverners belting out some of the most popular tracks by The Beatles. Each weekend has a line-up of incredible bands and music. Admission is free!
Discovery Pass Program
Niagara’s wine country offers a beautiful experience with its stunning locales and award-winning wines. With a $40+HST Discovery Pass, you can enjoy a self-guided tour of the wineries and tasting sessions. A Driver’s Discovery Pass is also available for $30+HST.
You can avail of eight experiences per pass which can be utilised as you wish–over one weekend, or two or three weekends. It’s a wine and food combination that’s hard to resist! Without the pass, each experience is $10, so the pass offers so much more!
Meridian Grande Parade
Will you be one of the 100,000 spectators expected to flock to the Grande Parade in downtown St Catharines? It is a street parade that you would want to witness with its marching bands, floats, majorettes, drum corps and spectacular performances. This year’s theme is Canada 150. There’s a reason why it is known as one of North America’s most notable street parades! So come along at 11 a.m. on September 23 to watch the pageantry and cheer out loud!
