As part of the Niagara Icewine Festival, you can taste their signature Vidal Icewine and a delicious Spit Roasted Porketta with apple Icewine sauce.
High quality wines produced at this family owned cottage winery are a result of the classic grapes grown here under suitable conditions. The Deltaic sands and silts as well as suitable temperatures and a long growing season have produced flavoursome wines. To this winery goes the credit of producing the first barrel-fermented Riesling Icewine in the Niagara region. The wines here are made with a keen understanding of different weather patterns that lead to vintage variations. Classic European style VQA wines produced at this winery are known for their delightful flavours. Enjoy a tasty mini waffle topped with Icewine, Niagara Maple Ice Jelly and Niagara "Apple Snow", and a delicious small-batch, collector’s Icewine with your pass.
Jackson-Triggs has one of the most technologically advanced state-of-the-art wine making facilities in Canada. It is also one of the most-awarded wineries in the country and that is reflected in their premium quality VQA wines.
