Niagara Named as Host of 2021 Canada Summer Games

The Canada Games are an esteemed national sporting competition and it’s just been announced that the Niagara Region will be hosting the Canada Summer Games in 2021. The Games were first held in Quebec City in 1967, and since then have been held biannually, alternating between summer and winter events. They’ve become the country’s largest multi-sport competition for amateur athletes, with many of those athletes going on to represent Canada in the Olympic games.

Canada Summer Games 2021 Events

The Canada Summer Games will draw athletes from all over the country to the Niagara Region to represent their province or territory in a wide range of sports such as:

, and more. Since their inception, more than 75,000 athletes have participated in the Games and in 2021, thousands of athletes and spectators will make their way to Niagara to participate and take in the excitement of this national event.
