Celebrate German beer and food during the second edition of the Niagara Falls Oktoberfest at the Scotiabank Convention Centre. That’s two days of fun, drinks and entertainment on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14, 2017.
The main floor of the convention centre is the venue for the event. On Friday, the fest timings are between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. while on Saturday the hours are 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Besides cold German beer and wine, you can also feast on delicious German food including bratwursts, pork and chicken schnitzels, sauerkraut, soft pretzels and much more. You can buy beer in exchange for tokens costing $7 per token. Each token gets you 17oz beer. It’s a heady Bavarian atmosphere with the food, beer, and live music from talented bands. Listen to The Happy Wanderers with their repertoire of German traditional as well as more modern music. The entertainment programme also includes "The Thirsty Traveller" Kevin Brauch.
A 19+ event, Oktoberfest tickets can be purchased online and at the venue as well. To buy tickets and to attend, you need a government-issued photo ID. Tickets are available for $10 plus taxes per day. Besides admission to the event, you get an official 17oz Niagara Falls Oktoberfest Stein with your ticket! A weekend pass for $15 plus taxes provides an entry on both days besides an official 32oz Niagara Falls Oktoberfest Stein.
