If you’re planning a visit to Niagara Falls but only have time for a short stay, make the most of your time by checking out these amazing destinations and activities.

Hornblower Niagara Cruises
Hornblower Niagara Cruises is a boat ride that takes you past the American and Bridal Veil Falls, into the mist, and right up close to the magnificent Horseshoe Falls. It’s a must-do Niagara Falls activity that’s perfect for people of all ages. Take in the beauty of the Falls from the deck of a historic boat, giving you an amazing view and unforgettable memories of a beautiful natural wonder.

Fallsview Dinner
Visit one of Niagara’s Fallsview restaurants for a one of a kind dining experience in direct view of the American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls. Choose from great restaurants like Morton’s Grille, Windows by Jamie Kennedy Fresh Grill & Wine Bar, Fallsview Buffet Restaurant, The Rainbow Room by Massimo Capra, and Milestones Fallsview Restaurant and get ready to experience innovative dishes and incredible modern dining in direct view of Niagara Falls.

Queen Victoria Park
Located directly across the street from the Horseshoe Falls, Queen Victoria Park is a wonderful outdoor space where you can take a stroll, relax in the grass, and take in the beauty of gardens, flower displays, and ponds. Every Friday night the park hosts the Coca Cola Concert Series where local bands perform live on a stage in the park, followed by fireworks over the Falls at 10pm. And from August 25th to September 4th you can catch the Onguiaahra: Thunder of Waters show in the park, which tells the story or Niagara with fountain water jets, lights, and music.

Journey Behind the Falls
Journey Behind the Falls is an attraction that offers some great vantage points from which to see the Falls, allowing you to walk through underground tunnels located behind the Horseshoe Falls and visit an outdoor observation deck located below the Falls. This attraction is great to check out if you’re on a time constraint as it’s both quick and incredibly impressive.

Niagara Whirlpool & Rapids
The huge amount of water travelling over Niagara Falls flows into the Niagara River and leads into class 6 white-water rapids and what is known as the Niagara Whirlpool. You can view the river and rapids by walking on a Niagara Glen nature trail in the beautiful gorge, or by taking a quick 10 minute ride over the rapids and whirlpool on the historic Whirlpool Aerocar, which has been in operation since 1916 and offers an amazing antique cable car experience.
